The walk took about an hour at a leisurely pace, including pausing to stare at a bold kookaburra. As New Yorkers, our normal idea of wildlife is a drunk warbling down a street at 3 in the morning (there's plenty of that in Sydney too, but that's for another post...)
When we got to Watson's Bay, it was time for a lovely cool drink at the cafe/pub. Watson's Bay is a couple of coves over from the city center. You can see downtown's skyline from the neighborhood -- looks far but it's only a 20 minute drive or ferry ride.
So to cap off the day's exertions, we hopped on the ferry and posed all the way back home :-)
